How to Get Google Adsense Approval With A New Blog

There is no point in mentioning again that AdSense is one of the best PPC networks out there. So far, the Adsense approval process has been simple: you create a new AdSense account, your account is verified, the Adsense team accepts your application, and you can advertise on your site and start making money.

From that point on, AdSense changed the AdSense approval process and made it easier for new publishers. Here’s the new account approval process:

  1. Make sure your site is Adsense compatible
  2. Sign up for an Adsense account
  3. Sign in to your Adsense account
  4. Add Adsense Code
  5. Wait 1-2 weeks for final review and approval

In a typical scenario, your application will take 48 hours to process. Once your application is approved, it will start showing ads on your blog and you will start making money.

Here is the Adsense approval process:

  1. Sign up for an AdSense account by going to AdSense.com. Provide all correct information about your name, address, and website URL.
  2. Logging into your AdSense account generates Adsense codes. Place the codes in the sidebar of your blog.
  3. Ads will display as empty until the final approval process is completed. It can take up to 2 weeks for approval. Make sure you don’t remove ads.
  4. After the final Adsense approval, you will receive a confirmation email.
  5. Once your AdSense earnings reach $ 10, AdSense will send you a PIN to your address.
  6. Sign in to your Adsense account and enter your PIN as soon as you receive it.
  7. Congratulations, you have completed all the steps. Once your account reaches $ 100, Google will send or transfer your earnings to you. I recommend that you enable direct bank transfer for Adsense payments.

While it will certainly help in verifying domain ownership, it can be difficult for someone registering on someone else’s website to get into Adsense. However, if your account is still declined, it’s time to try the Adsense alternatives.

How much traffic does it take to approve Adsense?

There is no actual minimum traffic that can be applied to Adsense. The number of visitors is not a factor in Google Adsense approval. Like other ad networks, they don’t have any minimum traffic thresholds you need to meet.

Even though Google says that traffic is not a factor in Google Adsense approval, in my personal experiment, traffic matters.

After all, if you don’t have a decent amount of traffic, you’re not going to be making a lot of money from your blog.

So, if you’re a budding blogger, I suggest you use Pinterest to get targeted traffic to your blog, and work on SEO to get free organic traffic from Google.

Things to do before applying for Google Adsense

Write quality content

Don’t fill your blog with plagiarism. Write unique, valuable, engaging, and high-quality content for your target audience.

Write detailed and optimized blog posts over 500-600 words long.

Also, Adsense will not approve your application if you are writing prohibited Adsense content.

So make sure your blog has quality content before applying for Google Adsense.

Make Your Blog Posts SEO Friendly

You should optimize your blog’s quality content with a meta title and description tag.

Google Adsense can use its crawler crawlers to check your entire site because the Adsense team cannot visit and view hundreds of websites that have applied for Adsense approval.

If you’re using WordPress, install the free Rank math plugin to easily optimize your blog’s content for search engines.

These simple tactics can also help you rank higher on Google.

Write enough blog posts.

I got Google Adsense approval for Inuidea with only seven high quality and detailed blog posts.

So the number doesn’t matter; the quality of the content is important.

But try to write up to 15 blog posts before applying for Google Adsense, and make sure your blog has enough content on every single web page.

Create required pages

There are several pages that your blog should have before applying for Google Adsense.

For example, about page, privacy page and contact page

A privacy policy is required by law if you collect personal information from users, and it is required if you intend to use Google Adsense ads on your blog.

If you have a business similar to mine, just copy and modify my privacy policy page to suit your needs. You can copy and use someone else’s privacy policy and it won’t hurt the health or SEO reputation of your blog.

After all, there are millions of privacy policy pages and they are almost the same.

Make sure you are over 18 years old

The Adsense Terms of Service clearly state that they only accept applications from applicants over the age of 18.

If you are under the age of 18, you can reach out to your parents or guardians and subscribe to Adsense using their information.

This post contains affiliate links (I don’t recommend anything that I don’t believe in), meaning at no additional cost I can get a small commission on purchases made through those links.

Make sure you are not using copyrighted images

Adsense does not approve of blogs if they notice copyrighted content.

You may be using copyrighted images without the owner’s permission. Keep in mind that this is illegal and harmful to your business.

So make sure you use images with permissions or use non-copyright images on your blog.

Create a user-friendly and professional-looking blog

You should design a user-friendly site with a clear navigation menu to help your visitors find important pages.

Also, make sure your blog is professionally designed and responsive to enhance the user experience.

If you are using WordPress, you can easily create a professional looking blog using a WordPress theme.

For bloggingsir, I use Astra, an easy-to-customize WordPress theme available at vpastra.com.

Applying for Google Adsense

After blogging by following all the tips mentioned above, you can apply for Google Adsense and quickly get Adsense approval for your new blog.

To apply for Adsense, go to the Google Adsense sign up page and apply by entering your website details, contact information, etc.

When applying for Google Adsense, please be aware that you are using your real name, physical address and correct payee name.

Google Adsense approval process

After you sign up for Google Adsense, you need to add Adsense codes to your blog. Ads will display as empty until the final approval process is completed. Final review and approval may take up to 1 or 2 weeks.

Upon final Adsense approval, you will receive a confirmation email that “yoursitename.com is now ready to serve Adsense ads.”

Yes, you can now add more ads to your site. Within a few hours, you’ll start seeing relevant ads and be able to make money from an Adsense approved blog or website.

Once your earnings reach $ 10, Adsense will send you an Address Verification PIN. Log in to your Adsense account and enter your PIN.

Congratulations,

You have completed all steps of the Google Adsense approval process. Once your earnings reach $ 100, Google will send you or wire your earnings to your bank account.

It’s your turn.
